WHY SHOULD VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS WEAR MOUTHGUARDS?

Studies suggest that nearly all sports carry some risk of injury, and if you're a parent, you should know that youth volleyball is no exception. As many as 39 percent of all dental injuries involve sports in some manner. Furthermore, players who do not wear mouthguards are 60 times more likely to sustain a dental injury than players who do. Clearly, using a mouthguard may help prevent sports-related dental injuries.

Of course, using the best mouth guard for volleyball is more effective than sticking an inferior product in your mouth. Game On uses a proprietary fitting material that mitigates any unnecessary sliding or discomfort, helping to ensure that your mouthguard is in place when you need it most. Likewise, our fitting material protects your mouth without relying on thickness, making it easier to drink water between sets or communicate with teammates in the heat of the action. Unfortunately, many of our competitors offer products that hinder players from trying to accomplish these basic tasks.

Game On Mouthguards can also be remolded, allowing you to adjust them after having dental work done instead of being forced into purchasing a replacement. Sadly, many competing products cannot provide a comparable amount of flexibility.

Even the slightest impact can cause painful lacerations or damage orthodontic equipment, making mouthguards even more important for athletes with braces. If you wear braces, you should know that Game On offers the best mouthguard for volleyball for braces. Our fitting material is comfortable, mitigating how often you chew or bite your guard during a volleyball game. Our fitting material also prevents bacteria from penetrating its surface, so your low-profile mouthguard won't turn into a petri dish.

All of these factors contributed to Game On Mouthguards becoming the first products of this type to earn acceptance from the American Dental Association, or ADA. Dentists are free to recommend our products to their patients, and we strive to retain their trust by offering the best mouthguard for volleyball on the market.

WHAT IS THE BEST MOUTHGUARD FOR VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS?

Ease of use is another important consideration when choosing a mouth guard for volleyball. While many competing products require athletes to boil water to fit their mouthguards, our process only involves a microwave and a wet paper towel. If you're interested in knowing how to mold a Game On mouthguard, the first step is to wrap your mouthguard in a wet paper towel and microwave it for 30 seconds. It's going to be hot, so dip it in cool water for 3-5 seconds. Next, unwrap it and gently bite so that it shapes to your teeth. Finally, press the front of your mouthguard against your teeth, close your lips, and suck for roughly 60 seconds to ensure a good fit.

You can also use the traditional boiling method if you like, and we provide expert fitting tips for athletes with braces. If your mouthguard is the wrong size, we have a fix for that as well. You can shorten it by trimming the back edges and repeating the steps above. Alternatively, you can pinch the back edges and gently stretch them out to make it longer. Few other products provide the same level of flexibility.

We also offer a variety of options to suit a broad array of athlete needs. For example, we offer custom volleyball mouthguards with straps and strapless options to accommodate a multitude of athletes. Our products are also available in a variety of colors, and we can personalize your mouthpiece by adding symbols, flags, your number, or even your name in a variety of fonts and colors. The best mouthguards for volleyball will be about safety first and foremost, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't express your unique sense of style when you are on the volleyball court.
